A Journey Through Travel, Teaching, and Lifelong Learning with Ed Williams
Open to listen to the full episode

This week on HarmonyTALK, host Lisa Champeau sits down with retired professor and lifelong adventurer Ed Williams, whose story proves that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door.
It all started with a stamp from the Belgian Congo - and from there, Ed's curiosity took flight. What followed was a decades-long journey that brought together students, older adults, and global scholars on immersive “learning vacations” across the world.
Ed shares how he built a career blending education with international travel, with a special focus on China - what he calls the “sleeping giant who sleeps no more.”
